Six days with us is your chance to feel the real northern Norway, walk hidden trails, warm up by a fire and hear the silence of the Arctic. This isn't just a tour, it's an adventure where you'll experience everything Lofoten has to offer: from kayaking among the fjords to hikes up peaks with incredible views and nights in authentic fishermen's cabins. We're ready to take you through the most secluded north, where every day reveals a new side of Lofoten.

Our Lofoten journey begins with landing at Narvik airport.
We gather the group, load the suitcases into the minivan and head to our cosy fishermen's rorbu at Lofoten Rorbuopplevelser. We check in, throw open the windows overlooking the water and take our first breath of icy northern air.
In the evening the tour leader cooks a home-made dinner — the perfect way to ease into the rhythm of life above the Arctic Circle. After that we have free time to rest after the journey and take in the fact that we really are in Norway.

Insurance for active trips
We work with ERGO and are insured with them ourselves: their travel policy covers active holidays, hiking in the mountains and trips to exotic countries. It takes a few minutes to arrange online.

Can I come on my own?
Yes, of course! Our small-group tours often include people travelling solo. It's a great chance to meet new people who share your interests. Many tours also involve shared accommodation and activities, which helps create a friendly atmosphere.
What's the average age of participants?
The average age of participants is usually between 25 and 45, but people of any age are welcome. What matters most is curiosity, energy and an open mind. You can check on the website or with the organiser whether a particular tour suits your age group.
What's included in the tour price?
As a rule, the tour price includes accommodation, transfers, excursions and a guide throughout. Flights, personal expenses and some meals are often not included. Be sure to check the full list of services with the organiser before booking so you know exactly what's in the package.
Do I need to be in special physical shape to take part?
It depends on the type of tour. Most of our tours are suitable for people with average fitness. However, if the programme includes demanding hikes, ascents or other physically challenging activities, the organisers will always let you know. Before booking, check whether the tour matches your fitness level.
Can I cancel the tour and get a refund?
Refund conditions depend on the rules of the specific tour. Generally, the earlier you tell us you can't come, the more of your money you can get back. In some cases the organiser can offer a replacement or move your booking to other dates. Check the cancellation policy before booking to avoid any misunderstandings.
What insurance do I need?
Medical insurance for the whole trip. It's not included in the tour price. We work with ERGO and are insured with them ourselves: their policy covers active holidays, mountain hiking and trips to exotic countries.
