Three days of skiing in Sölden, one of the main resorts in Tyrol. We leave Munich on Friday and go straight to an open-air party up in the mountains that same evening.
We ski at Hochsölden, where the crowds rarely reach: wide, well-groomed pistes and almost no queues. And we take the Schwarze Schneid, the longest run in Austria: 15 kilometres and 1,970 metres of vertical, from the summit at 3,340 metres all the way down to the valley.
We stay at a sports hotel and our minibus takes us to the lifts, so you never carry your skis around. The group is small, up to eight people.

We meet at Munich central station, get into the minibus and drive to Tyrol. We check in and pick up the rental gear straight away.
Friday evening is an open-air party up in the mountains: a stage under the sky, snow all around and music until late. This is exactly why the trip runs on these dates.

Where exactly do we ski?
Our base is Sölden in the Ötztal valley. We spend most of the time at Hochsölden, where there are fewer people and nicer slopes, and we always take the Schwarze Schneid: 15 kilometres and 1,970 metres of vertical, the longest run in Austria.
Do I need skiing experience?
Any level works: Sölden has easy blue runs as well as demanding red and black ones. If it is your first time, we will help you find a school or an instructor — paid separately.
What about the ski pass and rental?
The ski pass and the equipment are not included: we buy and collect them on the spot, and we help you choose. That way you do not pay for days you are not skiing.
Can I go alone?
Yes, of course! Author tours often include people traveling alone. This is a great opportunity to meet new people who share your interests. In addition, many tours include shared accommodation and activities, which helps create a friendly atmosphere.
What is the average age of participants?
The average age of participants usually ranges from 25 to 45, but people of all ages can participate. The main thing is the desire to explore new things, activity and openness. On the website or with the organizer, you can check whether a particular tour is suitable for your age group.
What is included in the tour price?
As a rule, the cost of an author tour includes accommodation, transfers, excursions and guide support. Flights, personal expenses and some meals are often not included. Be sure to check with the organizer for the full list of services before booking to know what exactly is included in the package.
Do I need to have special physical training to participate?
This depends on the type of tour. Most of the author tours are suitable for people with moderate physical fitness. However, if the program includes active hiking, climbing or other physically demanding activities, the organizers usually warn about this. Before booking, please check whether the tour is suitable for your level of training.
Can I cancel the tour and get my money back?
Refund conditions depend on the rules of the particular tour. Usually, the sooner you report that you are unable to travel, the more money you can get back. In some cases, the organizer may offer a replacement or reschedule the tour to other dates. Please check the cancellation policy before booking to avoid any misunderstandings.
What insurance do I need?
Medical insurance for the whole trip. It is not included in the tour price.
